We opened the show with Dr. Colin Roopnarine, of Northpoint Family Chiropractic.  Dr. Colin, and his wife Dr. Claudia have practiced Chiropractic for more than fifteen years.  Doctors Roopnarine serve families, from infant to senior.  For Dr. Roopnarine, he takes particular pride in helping seniors live active, pain-free lives.  Dr. Colin also specializes in fall prevention among seniors.  Prompted by falls from family members, he began to investigate ways to address structural ankle instability.  Listen as Dr. Colin discusses how to prevent falls.  Contact Dr. Colin at yourfamilydoc@comcast.net.

Next, we spoke to Mattie Sanchez.  Miss Mattie is a case co0rdinator for Griswold Special Care.  Griswold Special Care provides high quality non-medical care at affordable rates.  Miss Mattie’s role is to ensure that her clients have the care they need, when they need it.  Having been with Griswold Special Care for nearly five years, she has a multitude of stories about how her clients have been blessed by their caregivers.  Miss Mattie can be reached via email at mattie@gscatlanta.com.  Her website is www.griswoldspecialcare.com.

Our final interview today was with co-host, Sam Grass.  Sam is a partner in the Atlanta offices of Griswold Special Care.  Having a long career in managed care, Mr. Grass came to the conclusion that he wanted to have a more direct impact in the lives of seniors.  Listen in as he tells the story that brought him to Griswold Special Care.  Sam can be reached on the web at sam@gscatlanta.com.

If you are aware of an individual that should be recognized for the contributions he or she makes to improving the quality of life of Atlanta’s disabled or senior population, please contact Brad Culp or Sam Grass at info@eugeriaradio.com so that we can try to get them on the show!
