A Virginia native, Jane Hibbard attended Virginia Tech with the intent of studying Sociology and working in the field.  Along the way, she decided that she wanted to be a nurse, and earned a BS in Nursing from The Medical College of Virginia.  For nearly ten years, she served as a nurse in both the ER and ICU.  From there, she became a nurse consultant for Herman Miller working in Hospital Design.  When she became acquainted with hospice, she discovered that this was Mission for her, and not work.

Today Jane is a Nurse Liaison for Homestead Hospice, a local hospice dedicated to having their business close to their clients.  Homestead Hospice also funds the Hope Foundation a non-profit of Homestead that provides support for non-Medicare covered items.  For more information about Homestead Hospice, visit their website at www.homesteadhospice.com, or call them directly at 877-355-4472.
