Barbara Prasch knew “from the time she was four”, that she wanted to work helping seniors; “that special group of people.” She is a professional gerontologist with a graduate degree in gerontology. Throughout her career she’s held numerous positions “dedicating her life to finding the right solution for the aging person. No one can stop the aging process therefore I’ve made it my live calling to make that process better.” At Brookdale, Barbara brings all the experience necessary to provide this service.
Diana Rhea’s journey to the senior arena is a common one. After a “special opportunity” to live with her grandmother, coupled with the loss of her Dad, she promised herself that she would continue to give back to the senior community. Dr. Shyla Reddy, MD knew from the time when she was a small child growing up in India that she wanted to be a doctor. She attended medical school in India and completed her internship and residency at the University of South Alabama. She completed a Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology Fellowship at Emory University. Following her fellowship, Dr. Reddy returned to the University of South Alabama and served as an Assistant Professor for more than 10 years. In 2014, to be close to her family, she relocated to North Fulton County and opened Alpha Family Medicine.
