Heavenly Wheels – We Keep You Moving!

Heavenly WheelsHeavenly Wheels, Inc. is dedicated to “putting the needs of their customers first and foremost.”  In 2003 Heavenly Wheels was built on the foundation that clients were to be treated as if they were part of the extended family.  Today, with 3 retail locations along with a rental and a factory authorized full-service repair division; they continue to build their business on that foundation.

Listen to Jack Magley, Operations Director and Manager of their newest retail store in Johns Creek speak about what sets Heavenly Wheels apart and how that difference and dedication has paid dividends. After relocating to Atlanta from La Porte, Indiana, Jack who had the desire to help others, found a perfect fit for his calling with Heavenly Wheels; a durable medical equipment retailer specializing in home medical equipment.

Founded on the 3 basic core values; a caring spirit; a compassionate heart; and a giving soul, Jack knew he had found a home. These core values, coupled with Jacks love of vintage age music and “spinning vinyl” for senior sock hops, mesh well with the company’s motto of, “We keep you moving!”

Heavenly Wheels and Jack are available to anyone that may be in need of mobility assistance. For more information on Heavenly Wheels, visit them on the web at www.heavenlywheels.com, or call Jack at 888-792-0301.

Using A Reverse Mortgage as an Asset Preservation Strategy – Terry Bowser and Dan Diaddigo

Terry BowserTerry Bowser was born and raised in southwest Pennsylvania.  After earning a degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Terry was vacationing in Myrtle Beach, fell in love with the south, and never went back north.  He’s now been in Atlanta for 30 years.  Today, Terry is a Reverse Mortgage Advisor for CBC National Bank.  Joining Terrry in the studio this morning is Dan Diaddigo, Director SI – Group Mortgage Banking.  Dan moved to the Atlanta area when he was 10, and earned a degree in Broadcast News from the University of Georgia.  Very quickly Dan migrated to the mortgage industry, and has worked in the industry ever since.

Terry notes that the reverse mortgage loan is a very safe, payment-free way to access the equity in your home.  He also notes that it is a non-recourse loan that will allow a borrower to live in the home for as long as he or she lives.  An interesting side-note is that a reverse mortgage may not necessarily be used for living expenses or healthcare expenses, but could alternative be used as an asset preservation technique.

To hear more about reverse mortgages or CBC National Bank, please contact Terry Bowser at 404-642-6021, or email him at terry.bowser@cbcnationalbank.com.  Dan Daddigo can be reached a ddiaddigo@cbcnationalbank.com.

All Aboard the Healing Train!

Healing Train (2)Matt Zlotnick’s father was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer in 2006. Matt soon realized that his father’s fight to endure the treatment was only half the battle. It took a tremendous amount of energy to get to and from the numerous rounds of rigorous treatments needed. It was taking a toll on his father, family and friends. Taking time off work and having to call various people to ask for help– the cancer had not only invaded his father’s body but attacked the lives of family and friends. During this time Matt made a decision to help others that were also fighting this beast and reached out to his college friend, Josh Needles. CEO of Needles Solutions, Josh is a leader in the engineering wireless network industry. Josh saw the compassion and drive in Matt to help the critically ill and he knew that ‘change was going to happen and felt he could make it happen faster’. With Josh’s help, two years ago Matt started The Healing Train, a non-profit, 501c3, organization.

After the organizational process, both Matt and Josh knew that they could not physically run a transportation company, so The Healing Train partnered with Greene World Wide Transportation to provide free, professional and reliable transportation to and from appointments for those fighting cancer or other ailments. This transportation is 100% funded by charitable donations provided by local businesses. So, donations are critical in reaching and helping those in our community that need it most!

Matt and Josh have found a niche in the integrated healthcare delivery system that helps lessen the burden on many who need help getting to and from potentially life saving medical treatments. For those that might need The Healing Train’s service, they can be reached at www.thehealingtrain.wordpress.com.
